Reading Together


Looking to explore how reading together with others can boost your mood and support your mental health?  

This project brings readers together to share in the joy of reading and its benefits on our wellbeing. From playscripts to poetry, short stories and non-fiction, no book is judged by it’s cover.

Following a successful Reading Friends project with Barnsley Libraries during the pandemic, the Reading Together group was formed. 

Going to the reading group has helped me to lift my mood and reduce stress levels. Ive met new friends who are very supportive of me.”
