THINGS TO LIVE FOR

There may be times in life when things are tough. If your heads a mess and you’re on the edge, it’s time to make changes.

Things to Live For is a project for people who are really struggling and need to find new inspiration to break out of a rut.

The course is led by an Art Therapist and Street Artist and runs for half a day each week for 7 weeks in Barnsley town centre.

We go and see some art, get inspired and make something great. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be Banksy – all abilities are warmly welcomed!

Sessions are structured to help you to connect with others, reflect, find new ways of expressing difficult emotions and discover new passions.

Group sizes are purposely small and sessions are relaxed and person-centred.

You will be shown creative techniques that can be used as coping strategies on dark days or when anxiety hits.

This programme is funded by Public Health Barnsley.

The following courses are currently available:

• Mindful Movement,

• Street Art,

• Writing for Wellbeing,

• Visual art, and

• Music Moves Us.
